CCFG debuts with leading volume

Capital & Credit Financial Group Limited marked its first day of trading on the exchange by ending as the volume leader with 478,245 shares being traded for $400,288.25.

Sagicor Financial Corporation saw 103,469 shares being exchanged for $2.09 million, while National Enterprises Limited and National Flour Mills Limited followed with 69,586 shares and 50,000 shares crossing the floor with a corresponding value of $767,753.42 and $59,000.00 in that order.

Republic Bank Limited, Ansa Mc AL Limited and RBTT Financial Holdings Limited posted trade volumes of 42,496 shares, 33,878 shares and 28,000 shares with respective values of $4.27 million, $1.92 million and $1.02 million.

Overall trade volume for the day stood at 950,355 shares while value was at $12.91 million.

Due to the strong performance of CCFG, the newest listing on the exchange, the non-banking finance sector led with a total volume of 701,674 shares and a total value of $4.03 million.

Neal & Massy Holdings Limited enjoyed the largest price advance, climbing by $0.97 to $61.00.

Republic Bank Limited, Sagicor Financial Corporation and National Enterprises Limited added $0.50, $0.45 and $0.43 to close on $100.50, $20.50 and $11.05 respectively

Ansa Mc Al Limited gained $0.25 to end at $56.61.

Ansa Merchant Bank Limited and GraceKennedy Limited increased by $0.03 each to $27.55 and $8.30, while Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago Limited moved up by $0.01 to $36.01.

Declines were led by RBTT Financial Holdings Limited which lost $0.39 in Ex-Dividend trading to close on $36.60. Jamaica Money Market Brokers Limited shed $0.06 to end on $1.39, and Guardian Holdings Limited dropped by $0.04 down to $30.70.

There was no trading on the Mutual Fund market, but 1,050 shares in Mora Ven Holdings Limited changed hands on the Second Tier market for $5,040.00, with its price increasing by $0.43 to $4.80.

The Composite Index gained 3.84 points to end at 1,127.56, while the All T&T Index added 6.47 points to close the day on 1,448.61.
